Spokane C.O.P.S. Block Watch Presentation – Sept 12

Spokane C.O.P.S. Block Watch Presentation – Sept 12

All are invited to attend a Block Watch presentation for the community by Spokane C.O.P.S. Executive Director Patrick Striker at the South Hill Library, 3324 South Perry St., on Tuesday, Sept 12th, 6:30pm.  Additional guest speakers will include C.O.P.S. Southeast Block Watch Coordinator Kendall Eminger and Spokane C.O.P.S. Program Manager Maurece Vulcano.

Spokane C.O.P.S. Block Watch is one of the most effective and least costly ways to prevent crime and reduce fear. Block Watch fights the isolation that crime both creates and feeds upon. It forges bonds among residents, helps reduce burglaries and robberies, and improves relations between the police and the communities they serve.

Topics of discussion will be:

  • Having the fast track to reporting crime and unsafe conditions.
  • Notifications about crime trends and scams in your neighborhood.
  • Being a part of community crime prevention.
  • Education on how to protect yourself and your property.
  • Having the means to stop crime in your neighborhood.

For more information, please call the South Hill Library at 444-5300 or Spokane C.O.P.S. at 625-3301.
