Multiple Events on North Monroe (Mar 25 & 26)
There are multiple events taking place this weekend on North Monroe.
On Saturday, March 25, you can join Kingsley & Scout for free beer, snacks, a silent auction, limited-edition T-shirts and other festivities between 5 and 7pm. It’s a party to show their gratitude for the support they received after their store got broken into last week.
They’re also celebrating having recently placed in this year’s Inlander Best Of poll in the “Best Men’s Clothes” category. Not bad for having opened just this past autumn.
Keep in mind that the party is hosted a few doors down at Brickyard Barber Shop (2802 N Monroe) — which, as it happens, won the “Best Barbershop” category in the Inlander‘s Best of 2017.
Also on Saturday (and extending into Sunday, March 26) is a pop-up parking lot sale at the brand-new Ripples Thrift Store (3103 N Monroe) to benefit The Jonah Project. That runs from 8am to 6pm on both days. You can either purchase from the growing selection of clothing, accessories, shoes, bags, purses, furniture and housewares, or you can donate your own to help The Jonah Project combat human trafficking in Spokane.
And if you’re out at either one of these events, it’s a good time to enter the North Monroe Business District’s current social media contest. All you have to do is take a photo of the corridor, tag it with #KnowMonroe, and follow the group on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. You could end up winning two gift cards to Vessel Coffee.
