Emerson-Garfield is part of Spokane’s West Quadrant Tax Increment Financing – or TIF – District. What exactly is a TIF district? And what does it have to do with our neighborhood? Petunia’s Greenhouse Tour

Don’t forget that Petunia’s Greenhouse Tour takes place this weekend! The tour will be held on Saturday, May 19 from 9am to 4pm. The meeting point is Petunia’s Marketplace at 2010 N. Madison. There will be five local greenhouses on the tour and each will feature a one-hour seminar on gardening. Tickets are $10 and are available directly from Petunia’s.
