Vendor Lineup for the July 26 Farmers’ Market

We’ve just posted the vendor lineup for tomorrow’s Emerson-Garfield Farmers Market to our Facebook page. There are 17 in total — including fresh-baked bread (also gluten-free), fresh-picked veggies, locally grown berries and tree fruit, healthy goat meat, wild-caught seafood, seasonings, and some amazing health & beauty items. The first-ever Emerson-Garfield Farmers’ Market yesterday was a promising launch event. The foot traffic was fairly steady throughout the afternoon despite the 95° heat. And perhaps just as importantly, patrons were overwhelmingly enthusiastic that a market was now in our area. More than just a place to buy fresh-baked bread, delicious local produce, or mouth-watering food truck fare, it brought together people who live, work, or just pass through Emerson-Garfield and gave them a chance to slow down and socialize….

Well, the big day is finally here. The Emerson Garfield Farmers’ Market launches today (Friday, July 19) at 3pm and will run until 7pm in the parking lot Knox Presbyterian Church (806 W. Knox) [map].
