Vendor Lineup for the July 26 Farmers’ Market

We’ve just posted the vendor lineup for tomorrow’s Emerson-Garfield Farmers Market to our Facebook page. There are 17 in total — including fresh-baked bread (also gluten-free), fresh-picked veggies, locally grown berries and tree fruit, healthy goat meat, wild-caught seafood, seasonings, and some amazing health & beauty items. Not to mention the delicious ready-to-eat food and ice cream on offer from our loyal food trucks. Check it out here!

This marks the year that the Emerson-Garfield Neighborhood Council launches its Concerts in the Park series. The first of those concerts — and the only one for 2013 — will take place on Sunday, July 28 in Emerson Park (1116 W Alice) [map] from 4-6pm. Admission to the concert is free. Last year Emerson-Garfield resident Mary Charbonneau won the Peirone Prize as part of The Inlander’s Give Guide, the alt-weeky’s annual philanthropy issue in which they highlight people who are making things better here in the Inland Northwest.
