Emerson-Garfield Neighborhood Council held its inaugural Concert in the Park on Sunday, July 28. The band Island Soul performed a fantastic, groove-filled set with plenty of new, updated, and classic tunes, and Smokin’ Rome’s was on hand serving up his delicious BBQ and soul food. The event was everything that we’d hoped for a first-time event. It was well attended and there was a great neighborhood vibe.
