Bring your garden gloves and some light weeding tools.

Neighbor Day Festival (June 3)

Neighbor Day Festival (June 3)

This Friday (June 3) is the Neighbor Day Festival hosted by the West Central Community Center. It will run from 3 to 7pm in A.M. Cannon Park (1920 W Maxwell Ave), which is located right next to the center.

Neighbor Day is an annual community-wide festival with live music, free food, face painting, a fun street fair, market-style vendors, crafts and community resource booths. This year’s “Out of this World”-themed carnival is presented by Community Colleges of Spokane.

Neighbor Day 2016

This year promises to be extra special because it’s the 35th anniversary. And contrary to what the poster might suggest, the WCCC serves a much larger area than the West Central Neighborhood, so don’t hesitate to check out Neighbor Day if you’re from Emerson-Garfield, Audubon/Downriver, or all the many neighborhoods beyond.
