Come dance with us! Whether you’re young, old, coordinated or not, it’s time to get out in the sunshine, say hello to your neighbors and MOVE!
We will be dancing by the playground at Corbin Park, starting Memorial weekend Monday May 29th at 6 p.m. Then we will continue meeting most Mondays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. through the rest of the spring/summer.
If you have kids, they can easily play in your view at the playground while we dance. A win win!

The Emerson Garfield Farmers’ Market is the only one in Spokane that is completely run by volunteers from the local community. They’re still looking for people to help give market tours for new residents and helping at the children’s area. If you’re interested in volunteering please contact market@emersongarfield.org or call (509) 255-3072.
Please come add your voice to our neighborhood’s effort to make Euclid Ave. off of Division St. safer. This area has been the scene of numerous accidents and near accidents as people turn onto it going too fast off of Division. The Neighborhood Council voted this issue as a priority concern. We need as many people as possible to attend the traffic calming workshop to show our concern and support.
The Traffic Calming Workshop is Thursday, May 18th at the Shadle Library from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
Sounds like Italian is on the menu at a neighborhood plant sale. This Saturday, May 13th from 10 to 4 one of our neighbors will be selling tomato, pepper and basil varieties at 1718 N Lincoln St. This is a great chance to get your garden started.
